The major goal of the Vivian J. Roller Fund is to improve Long Term Care (LTC) for our senior citizens. The mechanism for doing this is to provide grants to organizations and individuals that have developed information on the types of LTC available and how to access these resources or can provide education/training for LTC facilities and workers.

The criteria and deadlines for grant applications are described on the Applications page. Other procedures involve monitoring pending legislation that affects LTC and communicating with legislators, our views on the impact of the legislation. Many of the family members are also involved in various aspects of LTC: attending meetings, doing ombudsman duties at nursing homes, encouraging the public to report violations in nursing homes.
