BOARD MEETINGS HIGHLIGHTS OF THE VIVIAN ROLLER
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING Members attending the meeting were David Kephart, Judy Sawyer, Jackie Boatman, Dean Adkins and Phyllis Krambeck. Absent: Chad Jordon. Others in attendance: Hank Krambeck. Business conducted by members was to approve a revision of the Endowment’s current Bylaws, renaming it Operating Policies and Procedures; Discuss and approve major changes on both MCQC and Roller Endowment websites due to termination of Truman State University Student Ombudsman Model Program; Approve changes in grants/awards program: a new grant application will be available on the website; and grants and awards will become two separate categories; Grants will be available only when funds are available and are limited to the field of Eldercare and nursing home related issues; Awards will be limited to Truman State University (Kirksville) students enrolled in the Health/Science program and will be offered on a yearly basis; Other awards may be added if funding is available. The meeting ended with the selection of three Truman students to receive cash awards at a dinner meeting on November 14, 2007.
